All contractors registered with tradeshop
have signed up to our Code of Conduct.
They undertake to:
 | Behave in a polite and courteous manner |
| Carry out the work to the highest standard |
| Inform you immediately if they are unable to keep an appointment |
| Introduce themselves to you clearly by carrying Tradeshop registered photo ID |
| Take care to protect your property whilst working on your premises |
| Not smoke or play radios in your property without your permission |
| Respect your privacy and confidentiality at all times |
| Not use any facilities in the property including electricity, gas, water, telephone, tea, coffee without your permission |
| Think safety – ensure that nothing causes an obstruction or danger while works are in progress |
| Ensure that you understand the work that they are there to do and what disruption this may cause |
| Work consistently until the job is completed. If they are called away, to always inform you when they will return |
| To leave your property in a habitable condition at the end of each day, leaving suitable facilities available |
| Remove waste or make collection arrangements |
| Drive and park courteously |
| Keep up to date records |
| Carry appropriate insurance |
